Way back in January 1963, when Koorong Street and its home sites were just pegs in the ground, Geoff and I being newly engaged, purchased our dream home block from Paul Jones of Paul Jones Real Estate. When we were getting ready to build in 1966, young Don Smith advised us of Thornleigh Brick Works, where we ultimately purchased the bricks used in the building of our dream home. In 1981 Don also sold my parents their retirement home in Gwandalan Crescent. It is time for me to move on, after very happily bringing up our family in Koorong Street, and let the family home be a family home again. Again I contacted Paul Jones Real Estate, spoke with Michael Thom and arranged to put my home on the market. Michael came, gave me a valuation, advised me the way the place would be marketed, and introduced me to the Paul Jones Team. The faces at Paul Jones are younger now, but still after 47 years, courtesy, attention to detail, timeliness of action and quality of service are the same.
